Eva Butterly struggled while growing up and was home-schooled.
After her brother advised her to go into weightlifting, Eva’s life changed. She went on to become a personal trainer and now helping others.
She told Barcroft TV: “The training has really helped. I’ve really been able to even out the symmetry [of my back] – it’s not perfect, but it’s much more improved than what it was.”
“I would say when I started getting heavily into fitness and my body started changing, I was more comfortable. I took control of my own body.”
Her confidence boosted and she started feeling comfortable in her own skin. She now inspires people like her and gives self-love and body positivity messages through her social media accounts.
She says she receives positive feedback from the online community and is very grateful to them for their unconditional support.
Eva now runs a personal training company, Warrior Fitness and trains people with scoliosis and similar conditions.
Eva also appeared in Game of Thrones as she had a successful career in acting before she started training.
Eva now wants to focus on helping people with scoliosis and similar conditions.
Eva said: “A scoliosis warrior is someone who gets up every single day, no matter how much they’re suffering or what adversity they’re facing in their life.”
“They don’t let it define who they are, they don’t identify with it and they battle on both mentally and physically. You’re not only getting someone fit but you’re getting someone mentally tough and that’s going to stay with you forever.”
