Woman Set A New World Record In Eating Mayonnaise


A woman has managed to want us to throw up after setting a new world record by eating large amounts of mayonnaise.

Arizona-based Michelle Lesco has gone viral after beating several world records including the fastest time for eating a hotdog without hands and the fastest time to finish a bowl of pasta.

Now, the 5′ 4” slim teacher managed to set a new world record in eating mayonnaise. While the previous record-holder managed to eat 850 grams of mayo without a break, Michelle consumed as much as 2,448 grams in just three minutes.

For perspective, the amount of mayo the teacher consumed in the short time was equivalent to more than three large jars.

Back in the day when they first started these contests, they would pull people from the audience, and they picked people that they thought could eat the most – so I think that’s where it came from,” Michelle said in an interview with Guinness World Records.point 226 | 1

“But in reality, there’s a bunch of us who have sports backgrounds, who are adults now and don’t get to play sports all that often but are still competitive and need some kind of outlet for that.”

As the proud record-holder added, she credits her fast metabolism for being able to process large amounts of food that she consumes.

However, she also noted that it takes loads of practice to get into the right shape and prepare the strategy for downing specific types of foods.

According to Michelle, she first discovered her talent for competitive eating when her male friends refused a large burger with 12 patties only for her to step up to the challenge and beat them.
