Whether it’s a small lie or a big one, most of us have lied at some point in our lives.
While some people lie not to hurt people with the truth, others lie to hide something they don’t want others to know. Though some lies may be innocent, others may be very serious and dangerous as they may influence the lives of other people.
Since we want you to have fun, however, we won’t be talking about anything too serious today!
In the picture puzzle above, you can see four ladies in red dresses. For the sake of this test, imagine that they are talking to you right now.
Two of them are telling the truth, but two of them are lying right in your face. Can you spot the liars based on their body language?
While one could argue that all of the ladies could potentially be lying, let’s presume that they don’t know how to control their body language and that their actions are spontaneous.
Lady number 1 is clearly ready to have a long chat. With her hands, she is opening herself up and inviting you to talk to her. The hand gesture she is making indicates that she is being open and forward.
Meanwhile, the girl to the right of her is definitely keeping something from you. Lairs typically touch or play with their faces while withholding the truth or being dishonest. She appears to be one of the two liars!
Lady number 3, on the other hand, seems focused on you while supporting her chin with her right hand. When a person does this, it means they are typically very interested in you or what you have to say. She is carefully analyzing your words and paying attention to your story.
Though she might lie to you at some point, she is currently more interested in hearing what you have to say than lying to you.
This leaves us with woman number 4. She is covering her mouth with her hand while talking to you. As body language experts say, this is one of the most common signs that a person is lying. By covering her mouth, this lady is indicating that she is hiding something!
