The Taliban are going public with their decisions regarding their new Government and its inauguration, making it clear to the world how women will not be allowed in power.
The spokesperson for the Taliban, Sayed Zekrullah Hashim made it really clear this time through his comments towards TOLO News that it was not possible for women to hold any government position. Moreover, he even went on to mention how women were made to give birth and not become ministers.
“It’s like adding something to their necks that they simply cannot hold,” he boldly explained.
In the same way, Zekrullah spoke about how the Afghans do not consider women to be even half of their society so the question of them taking oath for government positions was like dreaming.
The video footage received by Daily Mail is still yet to be verified but it features a jaw-dropping conversation between the leader and a local news reporter.
And that’s when the spokesperson says that women protesting on the streets is something they just couldn’t believe.
Moreover, he boldly confirmed how ‘these women are not the women of Afghanistan,” as well.“The real women from Afghanistan are the ones that give birth to the people of Afghanistan and then go about educating them about Islamic ethics too,” he added.
These shocking bits of news reports come at a time when rumors about the new Afghan government’s inauguration are taking center stage.
Some experts have even gone as far as mentioning how the Taliban plan on carrying out the inauguration on 9/11 as a means to troll the Americans, just days before the 20th anniversary of the September 11 attacks.
While the Taliban have tried long and hard to distance themselves from policies relating to their old regime, more and more news about harassment and strict punishments are coming out from Afghanistan, making people skeptical by the minute.
