Everyone wants to look best at their wedding, we do a lot of preparations for our big day.
The wedding dress is the most special and important part of it. Wedding dresses became popular only in the 19th century, and all credit goes Queen Victoria. She was the first woman to wear a white bridal gown. Before her, women would choose a traditional garment or a dress that fit the fashions of the day.
Now most brides choose to wear a white wedding dress. However, in some cultures, especially in Asia and Africa, young couples still prefer traditional wedding attire.
We share photos of brides and grooms wearing their traditional wedding dress and they show their culture!
