Size does not matter, and this couple is proving that to the world! Paulo and Katyucia from Brazil have a combined height of around 180 cm.
They were even listed as the smallest married couple in the world in the Guinness Book of World Records. While the couple gained a lot of fame worldwide, their love story deserves more importance.
Paulo is 90 cm tall and his partner Katyucia is merely 1 cm taller than him, and in the year 2016, they became the world record holder post their wedding.
Katyusha shared that although they are shorter than the average people, they have big hearts and their love for one another and for their dear ones is strong.
And, the challenges of life seem less difficult when you can deal with them together.
The couple met on a social media platform, where they chatted with each other for a while. The talks turned into dates, and in a couple of years, they got married to each other. However, it was not all simple for them.
Paolo shared that for him, it was love at first sight, and he never doubted his feelings for her. However, Katyucia admitted that initially, she found him annoying and boring, and even blocked him because of his cheesy pick-up lines.
Eventually, Paolo won her over explaining that he was being polite and wanted to give her compliments. Post his continuous efforts, Katyucia decided to unblock him after 18 months, and rest, as they say, is history.
Post that, the couple started talking constantly and they had their first date in 2008. Despite living in different cities, they continued to date each other.
After a while when the couple realized it was serious, Katyucia moved to Itapeva where Paolo lived. The couple dated for eight whole years, before Paolo popped the question.
