Darius Brown is a 13 years old young boy who loves sewing and had used his talent to get several animals adopted.
Now, amid the coronavirus crisis, he has decided to use his talent to help humans survive the pandemic.
Known for his organization Beaux and Paws, this little guy Darius Brown stitched bow ties for animals. He used to make the animals wear ties when they were to get adopted so that they can get the attention of people.
He had helped a lot of animals in getting a home for themselves.
Now, the young boy has changed his tracks and amid the pandemic, he is helping the human race survive. Stopping making bow ties for a while, he has started making masks to keep humans safe.
The boy announced his change of plans on his Instagram account on March 28th. He said that following the need for PPE kits and masks for the health care workers, he is going to make masks.
Almost all the hospitals in the country are now facing a shortage of masks and so he has taken responsibility.
He posted a picture of himself wearing a mask and working on a sewing machine. He wrote that he is working on making PPE masks for health care workers and the first one that he is wearing has been great.
Ever since the post came out, he has been able to make 75 masks alone. He will make more but for now, he is planning to donate these masks to hospitals in New York and New Jersey.
As per the inspection on the masks, it has been said that the masks are not of supreme grade. The masks are not of equal grade on N 95 masks but these ones can be used by front line staff as a supplement for their PPE kit.
