A child has been shot along with her mother and two male teenagers, him being the only one in a critical condition after a shooting incident in London last night.
The other three are either in critical or non-threatening conditions after they have been shot point blank in Harlesden, Brent around 9:45pm. Residents who’ve become witnesses in the neighborhood have told the press that the child was only about three years of age, and that she was seen unconscious before being escorted to an ambulance wrapped in a blanket.
It has been officially announced by the police authorities that nobody has been put to responsibility for the heinous crimes, and that the investigations are still ongoing.
Officers in forensics have checked a white car around the scene, with windows smashed.
One witness living in proximity have testified thus: ‘There was a young child, I think she was a girl, being carried into an ambulance. She was wrapped in a silver insulating blanket and appeared to be unconscious.It was very disturbing and quite unsettling.
I saw another victim. He looked like he was a young man and appeared unconscious too. There was a third adult victim, but they were conscious. ’Another witness testified for the horrific incident: ‘I just heard people screaming and saying a kid around three years old had been shot.
Everyone was saying just ring an ambulance.
My neighbour went out to help one of the men who was shot. She told me that the bullet had gone through his shoulder and she was pressing the wound to stop the blood flowing. ’ A police spokesman said: ‘Police were called at 9.45pm on Wednesday, to shots fired in Energen Close, Harlesden.
Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service and found four people suffering gunshot injuries. All four were taken to hospital. A child and a man are in a critical condition.Two other victims – a man and a woman – are not in a life-threatening condition.
Urgent enquires continue to establish the full circumstances. ’The whole borough of Brent is now on Section 60 order, which means that police can stop and search anyone without notice until 7am on Thursday. The Harlesden area has now been cleared for dispersal for public gathering as of overnight proceedings.
