The job of a marine is always difficult as no matter what their age is, they go away from their families to fulfill their duties. It is not an easy thing to stay away from the family for such a long time.

We have heard a lot of marines coming home to surprise their wife and children, but recently a marine came back home after a year just to surprise his mother.

It is always a heartwarming moment for the family to reunite with their loved ones after such a long time.

Darquari, who is 22 years old, came home after one year to surprise his 42 years old mother, Lakisha McDonald. Darquari came back wearing his fantastic Marine uniform and was nervously standing at the door before seeing his family after a year.

The family resides in Florida, and when the Marine knocked on the door, his mother came out to get the biggest surprise of her life.

Lakisha claims that her son always keeps secrets from the family as it is a part of the job and also because he doesn’t want us to be worried about him. So when he came home after a year, nobody from the family knew about his arrival.

All Lakisha could care at that moment was to spend quality time with her son and the whole family. She was jumping with excitement after seeing her son after so long, and couldn’t hold back her happiness.

Darquari’s sister, Lakia, was super happy to see her brother as she claims that they have the most beautiful sibling relation, and she is proud of her brother.
