Anyone who has experienced, is suffering or knows someone with kidney disease knows that it can cause death.
It is a dangerous disease because most cases are diagnosed during the final stages. Many people lack information about this silent killer and don’t even care about it. Sometimes the symptoms appear when the disease is at a critical stage. Therefore, it is important to recognize its symptoms. These are the most common signs of the disease.
1. Urinary Function Changes
The frequency (increase or decrease) and the amount you urinate is the first indication of kidney problems. The color of your urine may also darken and you might fail to urinate when you reach your washroom. If you see any urinary function changes, try to record the number of washroom visits every day.
2. Pressure, Pain, or Difficulty While Urinating
If these signs occur when you are urinating, they could signify urinary tract infections. Although these infections are easily curable, you need to notice them as early as possible because they can reach your kidneys or cause neck pain and fever.
