An expecting bride-to-be is revealing some hurtful and discouraging words said by her own mother in law and it’s creating a storm online.
The woman revealed how she’s all set to tie the knot while expecting but the news isn’t going down too well with her future mother in law who refers to her as a sinner for being unmarried and pregnant.
Many people were surprised and beyond shocked to hear such controversial and traditional statements come out from the woman’s mother-in-law. After all, gone are the days when people used to actually care about things like these.
But this mother-in-law is definitely sticking to her roots and her traditional values, adding how it’s forbidden to bear a child without being in wedlock.
The expecting mother revealed how she feels awfully guilty and ashamed of the entire episode, adding how she’s all set to marry the love of her life and the father of her child in less than two months, even before the baby arrives.
“You can’t welcome a baby into the world while being unmarried,” the mother-in-law added.
Sadly, what some people don’t realize is how painful and mean words can be, acting as a sword that cuts through feelings.
Now, the future mother in law feels that the wedding should be postponed, until after she delivers. And in case you’re wondering why, well, the answer is simple. She feels that this way, fewer people would see her bump as it would be gone by then.
“It’s just too embarrassing to see your son marry someone that’s already pregnant before the wedding has even taken place,” the future mother in law commented.
But the woman feels so disheartened by the comments, adding how her mother in law even referred to her situation as a trashy ordeal.
