A friendly bear at a zoo near Moscow, Russia waved back at a zoo visitor and left him surprised.

Maxim Gavrilenko visited a zoo near Moscow, Russia when he spotted a large brown bear who was sitting in its enclosure.

Maxim filmed the moment that shows Maxim waving at the large brown bear who is sitting on its hind legs.

The bear looked at the zoo visitor for a few seconds and waved back at the zoo visitor. This left everyone at the zoo stunned and they all started giggling.

Maxim said: “I was stunned when the bear waved back. We were told it always does this if he thinks he can get some extra food out of it.”

Another video shows a bear waving back at a man at the Olympic game farm in Washington.

The video was posted online and went viral instantly. The video has been viewed more than a million times and received thousands of likes and comments.

One user wrote: ‘Proof that bears are learning the advanced and complex ways of language to communicate with humans and possibly with other animals’ while another user said: ‘I don’t know how many times I have seen this, it still makes me laugh’.

The video of the bear waving back at the zoo visitor left everyone stunned after it was posted online. People were left in awe and praised the kind-hearted bear.
